Non-woven fabric for Hotel Slippers
Jun 02, 2026
Non-woven fabric is not woven cloth; it is formed by hot rolling and bonding chemical or plant fibers, the mainstream raw material for hotel disposable slippers. Most hotel slipper non-woven fabric is made of polyester staple fiber consolidated by thermal pressing without warp and weft yarn weaving. Thanks to fluffy fiber structure, the material is lightweight, breathable and moisture resistant. Different grammage decides thickness: low grammage for budget hotel slippers while high grammage features tighter structure with better tensile strength and lint resistance. Edges can be heat sealed instead of stitching for efficient production and lower cost. Single-use property avoids cross-infection, widely adopted by star hotels. Limited by material property, non-woven cannot stand long soaking or water exposure, only for temporary indoor walking and shower.
